A major issue facing our industry today is a shortage of skilled workers. Workforce development must be a priority for all employers in the construction industry or the problem will only get worse. To that end, the Inland Northwest AGC is pleased to offer three open shop apprenticeship programs for its members – Carpenters, Laborers, & Heavy Equipment Operators.
An apprenticeship in the construction industry is the backbone of your career in the trades — it's what makes you the best trades person you can be for an employer. In our industry, apprenticeships range anywhere from three to five years in length, and include both classroom education and hands-on training.
You earn while you learn - meaning that you get paid to go to school while earning a great wage! In some trades, you start getting benefits from day one on top of an hourly wage. However, like with all apprenticeship programs, they differ by trade.
Your support and contributions will enable us to provide additional valuable trainings. These trainings support individuals in need and assist them in obtaining fulfilling careers in the construction industry.
